Chermot Ballroom
Located near 26th and Farnam, The Chermot Ballroom first opened in 1931 and was one of Omaha’s most popular dancing halls. Today, the Ballroom has transitioned into a wedding venue hosting gatherings up to 270 people. The Chermot is one of Omaha’s oldest original ballrooms. Pricing starts at $2500. The Chermot has two ballrooms allowing for ceremony in one and reception in the other. Our large mixed-use lounge offers a large area for cocktails, live music or use it as a bridal suite to get ready! Allow our talented mixologists from Upstream Brewing company to assist you in making the perfect bar menu for the evening. Bar packages are flexible and choose from a hosted or cash bar! Built in 1887, the Bemis Bag company near 11th and Jones is one of Omaha’s oldest standing buildings. Situated inside, you’ll find a former loading dock where flour and grain sacks were shipped out across the country via train. Today, it’s transformed into a Ballroom dance studio and wedding venue hosting up to 180 guests. Pricing starts at $2200. Host both your ceremony and reception at no extra charge and receive tables, chairs, linen, decor and more in the rental.
